The Canadian Food Safety Information Network (CFSIN) includes a digital platform, which was launched in September 2020 to provide real-time data sharing and collaboration capabilities among Federal/Provincial/Territorial (FPT) Food Safety Authorities across Canada. The goal of the CFSIN initiative, led by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA),is to help improve the detection and response to food safety issues and emergencies.A key component of CFSIN is shared data between CFIA and partner systems. There are two distinct streams of Information Management (IM) work, including, data within CFIA and CFIA systems that impact CFSIN and data from partners that will be shared with CFSIN. CFIA has identified a need for professional services to assist in transformation logic.
