Per TGC 2269 and 437.054, the Texas MilitaryDepartment (TMD) is seeking competitive sealed proposals from General Contractors to replace the roof at the Decatur Readiness Center (RC) facilityin Decatur, Texas. Work includes a roof replacement, but is not limited to the removal and replacement of the existing roof system down to the supporting structural members. Only areas comprised of a gypsum deck will have the deckreplaced. The existing concrete decks will remain in place, as-is. The estimated Base Cost of this project is $1,250,000.00 with Proposal Options estimated at $175,000.00.General Contractors must request via the group email: FY26DecaturRoof@cfmo.mil.texas.gov the Drawings/Plans and Specifications electronically in digital format. Vendors MUST attend one (1) of the two (2) MANDATORY site visits at 10:00 AM CT OR 1:00 PM CT, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 2400 N. Trinity Street, Decatur, Texas 76234.
