This is the synopsis for the annual bulk fuel procurement for the Deep Freeze purchase program. The fuel procured for this buy will cover McMurdo Station in Antarctica. The ordering period is the date of award through January 31, 2018. The delivery period is December 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018 with a 30-day carryover. The 30-day carryover period allows for delivery orders to be placed prior to the end of the ordering period. This procurement will be FOB origin and the method of delivery will be tanker. The total estimated quantities are as follows: Turbine Fuel, Aviation, AN8 (NSN: 9130-01-373-0208), Quantity: 3,800,000 US Gallons (USG) Note: AN8 is an ultra-low sulfur product. Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP5 (NSN: 9130-00-273-2379), Quantity: 800,000 US Gallons (USG) Note: JP5 is an ultra-low sulfur product. Fuel, Gasoline, MUM (NSN: 9130-01-272-0983), Quantity: 100,000 US Gallons (USG) Copies of the solicitation will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) webpage at www.fbo.gov. A posting notice will be sent to vendors on the solicitation mailing list on the date the solicitation is issued and posted on the FedBizOpps webpage.
