The City of Marathon is undertaking a project to install approximately 5,010 linear feet of 16-inch DR 11 HDPE piping using a directional drill method, starting from the south side of the Robert H. Dopps Bridge on Coco Plum Drive and extending southeast to the corner of Avenue I, near the Area 6 Wastewater Treatment Facility. The scope includes procuring and installing five 16-inch plug valves along with the necessary fittings to ensure proper piping connections. All work will adhere to the detailed Contract Plans, Contract Documents, and Technical Specifications. This project is part of the Deep Injection Well Phase IIIA Transmission Main Project, with a solicitation posted on July 22, 2025, and a response deadline of September 4, 2025. The contract is valued between 1.5 and 3 million dollars and is managed by the City of Marathon in Florida.
