NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, acting on behalf of AIMD Misawa, has issued a firm fixed price supply contract for the procurement of deicing truck parts, specifically the AIR PLUS BLOWER UPGRADE-GEN1 / GEN2 (Part Number 975-01054B). The solicitation is conducted on a brand name basis, exclusively seeking these parts from GLOBAL GROUND SUPPORT in accordance with the justification outlined in FAR 6.302. The solicitation was posted on August 6, 2025, with a proposal deadline set for August 13, 2025. There is no set-aside for this contract, making it open to all qualified suppliers, although the brand name restriction limits competition to the designated supplier. Interested vendors can express their interest or submit proposals, which will be used solely to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted. If no suitable alternatives are presented, the contract will proceed non-competitively with the specified brand. The place of performance for this requirement is Japan, and all solicitation-related activities, including amendments and questions, are managed electronically with no hard copies provided.
