DELL R810 POWEREDGE CHASSIS

Solicitation N00421-12-T-0414 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis. Manufacturer must be DELL, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, Total Small Business Set-Aside authority of FAR Part 52.219-6, and Brand Name FAR Part 52.211-6. The R810 Chassis Poweredge equipment identified in this solicitation are used in support of the Special Operations Central Command (SOCCENT). The equipment required is a component of the overall configuration for the Telecommunications Data Network Systems, and will provide critical services and capabilities to its component commands, as well as maintain interoperability and interchangeability with the current fields. . Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm. See Attached RFQ Award is anticipated 23 July 2012 . Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received 20 July 2012 by NOON will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
