Description: The radar transmitter unit accepts a stable frequency low level pulsed RF signal, amplifies it with a gridded traveling wave tube, and then sends it to the antenna for subsequent radiation. The antenna is a wing mounted, phased array, electronic aperture used for transmitting and receiving ultra high frequency radiation signals enabling flight weather and/or target surveillance, in defensive/offensive operational modes. 9.
