URGENT AND COMPELLING ANNOUNCEMENT Demo, Removal, and Install Services for Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) The Defense Media Activity (DMA) is announcing the need for authorized sources for the maintenance services for Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems for the Defense Media Activity Riverside (DMA-R) facility. The Defense Media Activity Headquarters is developing a procurement of all labor, certifications, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and management necessary to satisfactorily perform uninterrupted power supply maintenance services. CONTRACT/PROGRAM BACKGROUND: Contract Number: HQ0516-16-C-0019 Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price Incumbent and their size: Titan Power Method of previous acquisition: Competitive Acquisition Provide Brief description of the current program/effort: The estimated injury to the Agency is significant, as any failure to the last remaining Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system could cause costly electrical damage to millions of dollars worth of computer and broadcast equipment. Further damage would be caused, if all power to the DMA-Riverside facility would be turned off, and the last remaining UPS system failed. A power outage would result in all work stoppage to the 150 plus personnel assigned to the DMA-R facility until power could be restored, which could be over a week of work stoppage. Aside from the immediate Agency mission failure, such a work stoppage would cost tens of thousands a day in lost productivity from DMA-R personnel. List Anticipated Time Frame: 20 July 2018 - 20 October 2018 List Place of Performance: DMA Riverside 23755 Z Street Riverside, CA 92518 REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: The Contractor shall be able to inspect UPS's and battery assemblies, perform and complete maintenance services procedures, and test UPS's and related system. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Fulfill the urgent need to provide continued electrical service to the DMA Riverside facility.
