Nunavut Land Claim Agreement: Yes - This procurement is subject to the Agreement Between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada This solicitation is limited for bidding among firms registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR). Project #: R.119911.001 The Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has a requirement in Resolute Bay, Nunavut for Demolition Contractor Services for Resolute Bay Staff House Demolition. - The project involves demolition and disposal of an abandoned residential staff house at Resolute Bay, Nunavut.
Work on this Contract comprises demolition and disposal of the abandoned Staff house in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. The building is located on Lot 37, Block 2, Plan LTO 1381. The single storey building is a wood frame bungalow and is approximately 8m x 16m (26’ x 52’). Disposal also includes the removal of debris and abandoned materials outside of the house and situated on the lot. An Environmental Site Assessment was undertaken and no hazardous materials were found to be present, other than mould on the inside of the building.
Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated between $100,001 > $ 250,000
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF). Tenderers should note that attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.
