This contract was solicited as an 8(a) Sole Source coordinated through the Small Business Administration. Work to be performed includes the following: Demolition/removal of 26 Military Family Housing Units to include all structures associated with affected units: houses, carports, fences, driveways, walkways, porches, patios, and landscaping rocks/bricks/borders. On selected streets, remove driveway/apron entirely and install new curb/gutter to match existing. Patch asphalt pavement to match existing. Install new sidewalk (if existing on that side of the roads). Ensure proper drainage of new sidewalks/ curb/ gutter. On all other streets, remove driveway to nearest joint of apron. Ensure Erosion/Sedimentation Control Permit is approved by State of North Carolina prior to start of work.
