Title:
Demolition of structures and waste removal at Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area.

Two Phase Selection Process:
This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition. The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation.
Work Description:
Demolition of structures and waste removal at the Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area, Milford, Ontario
Objective:
The Contractor shall successfully obtain all required permits (Canada Wildlife Act etc.) and provide all necessary labour, equipment, and appropriate environmental mitigation measures required to demolish the remaining structures and haul all waste from specified lots at the Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area, located in Milford, Ontario, K0K 2P0 (43°94' North / 76°89' West) as outlined in the statement of works that will be released to those qualified to complete Phase 2.
Kick-off and close-out meetings will be required between ECCC and the contractor.
The expected project completion date is March 15, 2024, and actual site preparation work and construction work must take place within timing windows dictated by permits required for this work.
Estimated Value:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $200,000.00 and $300,000.00 (taxes excluded).
