The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking qualified providers to deliver Dental Anesthesia services to residents of the Brenham State Supported Living Center in Brenham, Texas, under Solicitation HHS0017572V2. The contract, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2026, and initial term ending August 31, 2029, requires bidders to provide anesthesia services at the BSSLC Dental Clinic, local hospitals, or the contractor’s approved offsite dental office. Services include pre-anesthetic evaluations for Total Intravenous Anesthesia candidates, comprehensive anesthesia reporting, and annual on-site training for BSSLC staff in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. All services must comply with American Society of Anesthesiologists and American Dental Association guidelines, as well as OSHA infection control standards. Pricing is structured as firm, fixed unit costs for the first hour of anesthesia and per 15-minute increments thereafter, submitted via Exhibit C, and payment will be made in accordance with the Texas Prompt Payment Act based on monthly invoicing that includes the contract number and detailed service description tied to the approved pricing sheet. Contractors must meet stringent compliance, insurance, and operational requirements. Mandatory insurance includes Workers’ Compensation with employer’s liability limits of $1 million, Commercial General Liability with $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, Commercial Automobile Liability of $1 million per accident, Professional Liability of $1 million, and Umbrella Liability of $1 million. Contractors must also maintain E-Verify compliance, provide proof of no felony convictions or deceptive trade practices violations, and certify they are not suspended or debarred under SAM or the Texas Debarred Vendor List. All bidders must submit completed and signed Exhibit A affirmations and Exhibit C pricing sheet, or risk disqualification.
