The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide dental hygienist services to federal offenders at Collins Bay Institution, Warkworth Institution, Millhaven Institution, Bath Institution and Joyceville Institution. Objectives: to provide dental hygiene services (cleaning and scaling) in accordance with standards of practice as set out by the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. Deliverables: The contractor must provide dental hygiene services based on client need and within the limitations as set out by the Commissioners Directives and Health Services Manual. The contractor must incorporate ongoing evaluation by recording and updating relevant findings on the client’s dental record, for the contract dentist to review.
