THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area has a construction requirement for design and construction of eight (8) anterooms on specific pathogen free chicken houses at the Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, Georgia. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Pursuant to FAR Part 13, Request for Quotation (RFQ) may be issued on or around August 15, 2024; quotes will be due on or around September 5, 2024. It is anticipated the requirement will be 100% Total Set-Aside for small business under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of is 238130 Framing Contractors with a small business standard of $19.0 million. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of a quote. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website located at www.SAM.gov.
