The City of Anaheim is implementing the OCVIBE project, which includes several key development components and infrastructure improvements. A primary focus is the construction of Parking Deck A, a seven-story structure providing 1,840 parking stalls. This effort involves a final site plan, amendments to the OCVIBE Master Site Plan, and conditional use permits for reduced setbacks along Douglass Road and State Route 57, as well as modifications to the OCVIBE Mural Plan. Additionally, the project encompasses the South Plaza development, which includes a hotel and entertainment spaces. Complementing these developments is the Orangewood Avenue Improvements project, managed under Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-ORA-57876-R5 by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. This infrastructure work involves widening Orangewood Avenue from four to six lanes and modifying bridge structures over the Santa Ana River, specifically adding 30 to 35 feet of surface area along the north side of the existing bridge and retrofitting pier foundations. The project adheres to California Code of Regulations and requires the implementation of standard Best Management Practices for pollution prevention, site restoration of temporary impacts, and specific compliance reporting. All associated environmental impact reports have been certified as adequate, with no new significant environmental effects identified.
