Full Description

Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the Board of Commissioners of St. Lucie County (the “Board” and the “County”) is seeking proposals (“Proposals”) from qualified applicants (“Proposers”) to develop and operate aeronautical facilities on one or more undeveloped parcels of land on the east side (“Aero East”) of Treasure Coast International Airport (the “Airport”), as further described in Section 1, below, and as depicted in Exhibit A, collectively totaling approximately 48 ± acres (the “Parcels”). The selected Proposer (or Proposers) will be required to negotiate an appropriate agreement to lease and develop one or more Parcels (the “Lease Agreement”), with a term to be agreed upon with the County and commensurate with the proposed level of investment in the Parcel(s) and the nature of the proposed aeronautical activities. The number of Parcels included in the Development Proposal will not be a factor in scoring the Proposals. Proposers may include one Parcel in the Development Proposal, more than one Parcel, or all the Parcels without any impact to scoring of the Proposal. Because more than one Parcel is available on Aero East, the County may select more than one Proposer for negotiation of a Lease Agreement following the evaluation and selection process.
