Transport Canada is seeking the services of a specialized Contractor to develop a Framework, which will provide information and direction for the management of vehicle cyber security policy and policy-related instruments. In particular, the Framework will be composed of the following: a Canadian Vehicle Cyber Security Primer, Recommendations for a Canadian Vehicle Cyber Security Program, and an Analysis and Recommendations for Managing Vehicle Cyber Security Moving Forward. The work includes technical and policy components, which requires the successful bidder to demonstrate domain specific expertise; knowledge of Canada’s legislative framework and TC’s motor vehicle safety scheme; and command of the Canadian and global vehicle cyber security legislative and operating environment, including technical standards and regulations, cyber security and software management systems, and cyber security reporting and monitoring processes.
