Full Description

The proposed improvements consist of removal and replacement of the bridge approach pavement, partial removal and replacement of a barrier wall, and removal and replacement of the bridge expansion joints. This project also includes deck sounding and partial depth repairs as shown on the plans. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa. All work on this contract shall commence on or after May 12, 2025. All work on this contract shall obtain final completion by July 11, 2025. The beginning and completion dates will be included in and made part of the contract between the successful bidder and the City. Liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) per calendar day shall be charged for every day past the final completion date. Bids may only be submitted electronically via the City's Ionwave e-bidding system. No other forms will be accepted.
