Interested parties (universities, businesses and laboratories, etc.) are hereby invited to participate in an Industry Day session to be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 9:30am - 11:45am, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), regarding an upcoming solicitation/call to be issued against Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science & Technology (S&T), Cyber Security Division (CSD), Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) HSHQDC-14-R-B0005. DHS S&T CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005, a 5-yr BAA, was issued in Federal Business Opportunities on April 23, 2014 and can be found at https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DHS/OCPO/DSH-OCPO/HSHQDC-14-R-B0005/listing.html. The Industry Day session for the upcoming solicitation/call to be issued against DHS S&T CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005 will be held at the Mayflower Hotel located at 1127 Connecticut Ave, Washington DC 20036. Registration for this event is required and is available at: http://events.SignUp4.com/BAA_CPS. To ensure participation from a broad number of organizations, DHS S&T CSD may limit the number of attendees from each organization if we reach capacity. If this happens we will contact each organization to prioritize their attendees. Registration must be submitted no later than Monday, June 23, 2014 at 12pm, EDT. Registration submissions using the above link will not be accepted after the above specified date and time; however, onsite registration will be available the day of the event beginning at 8:30am, EDT, if space is available. The government will not compensate participants for travel, lodging or any other expenses associated with this event. The purpose of this Industry Day is to brief interested parties on the BAA topic - Cyber Physical Systems Security (CPSSEC), which is one of the topics included in the DHS S&T CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005. This notice does not constitute an invitation for bids of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to enter into any acquisition for any products or services.
