DHS Fiscal Year 2009 Industry Day

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is organizing the DHS Industry Day event to promote dialogue between DHS and potential contractors by sharing advance acquisition planning information. Scheduled for December 3, 2008, at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C., this full-day event aims to enhance communication of DHS requirements and foster increased competition among federal contractors. The event encourages participation from a diverse range of businesses, including large and small federal contractors and representatives from Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, Veteran Owned, and Woman Owned business categories. Presentations from the event will be webcast, allowing broader access beyond on-site attendees. Participation is limited to one representative per firm due to space constraints, and registration is required through the event website. The Industry Day is managed through the Contract Administration Services Division of DHS, with E. Darlene Bullock serving as the contracting officer for inquiries.
