The requirement is for diagnostic testing of avian influenza samples collected through ECCC’s implementation of Canada's Interagency Surveillance Program for Avian Influenza Viruses in Wildlife, using standardized and accredited polymerase chain (PCR) testing methodologies for broad detection of avian influenza matrix, H5, and H7 genes. The period of the contract is from contract award to March 31, 2027, with option to renew for deux (2) additional one-year periods.
