The Naval Hospital Bremerton intends to award a sole source contract to Comcast Cable Communications, LLC for digital cable television programming services at Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, Washington. This decision is made under FAR 6.302-1 authority, given that Comcast is the only existing vendor regulated to provide programming and maintenance at this location. The current arrangement includes an Expanded cable programming package with 39 service outlets, meeting the hospital’s operational needs efficiently and cost-effectively. Comcast currently holds a contract as the single source provider for all required support and maintenance, which the government sees as the most economical option. No solicitation package will be issued for this procurement. Although this is a sole source award, vendors who believe they can provide equivalent services are invited to submit capability statements to the contracting officer, Francine A. Meester, for future consideration. Submissions should include company identification details, contact information, and evidence of capability to provide the service. The government reserves the right to decide whether competitive bidding is necessary based on these responses. The contract supports the NAICS code 515210 and will be performed at Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, with the contracting office located in Bremerton, WA. The primary point of contact for this procurement is Francine A. Meester.
