Digital Fire Extinguisher Training System

SOURCES SOUGHT The purpose of this Sources Sought is to determine if there exists an adequate number of vendors that can provide the Digital Fire Training System as further defined below: Digital Fire Training System (Fire Extinguisher Trainer) - A training system that uses a cone laser that replicates the spray from an actual fire extinguisher - A training system that has the ability to change the training from Class A, Class B, and Class C fires - A training system that has the ability to determine if the user is using the correct extinguisher - A training system that determines if the user is aiming or sweeping the fire extinguisher correctly - A training system that determines if the user is using the fire extinguisher at a correct distance from the simulated fire - A training system that has the ability to customize training scenarios - A training system that has the ability to track who has used the system - A training system that can be used indoors/outdoors - A training system that has a smoke generator - The training system's extinguisher must have a pressure gauge - The training system's extinguisher must have a Schrader recharge valves - The training system cannot have 3d glasses as it will interfere with the user's personal protective equipment (PPE) The training system must have the capability to be transported and must have a case Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. Goodfellow Air Force Base will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this Sources Sought. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. Company Name b. Point of contract (phone and email) c. Provide a description of your company's ability to provide the requirement (e.g. capability statement) d. Product data/specifications All interested business concerns are required to respond to this sources sought via email no later than 19 May 17, 1630 CST. The information received in response to this sources sought will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement.
