Only Suppliers currently pre-qualified on Supply Arrangement E60PV-19EQUI have been invited to bid. As a requirement of the Supply Arrangement, this notice is published on Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) for a period of 40 calendar days. The closing date published on this notice identifies how long the notice will be published. For the closing date of any solicitation under the supply arrangement, invited suppliers should refer to the solicitation documents. Suppliers that do not have a Supply Arrangement for the supply of Laboratory and Scientific Equipment, Parts and Accessories, Services and Supplies with Public Works and Government Services Canada, cannot submit a bid. Any bids received from suppliers not pre-qualified on the Supply Arrangement will not be evaluated. Suppliers may qualify under Supply Arrangement E60PV-19EQUI for Laboratory and Scientific Equipment, Parts and Accessories, Services and Supplies, at any time. Interested suppliers should download solicitation document E60PV-19EQUI/D from CanadaBuys (SAP Ariba) and submit a response as per the requirements of the Request for Supply Arrangement. Description: Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) requires a digital microscope equipped with an elemental analyzer capable of analyzing surface profiles for research purposes. The mandatory technical criteria are as follows: -The Bidder MUST be able to provide a digital microscope which has minimum 60-degree tilt functionality for sample orientation. The Bidder MUST provide document indicating this functionality is available. - The Bidder MUST be able to provide a digital microscope which has lenses with zoom spanning 20X to 3000X or more. The Bidder MUST provide documents to support that they have available lenses with the specified zoom span. - The Bidder MUST be able to provide a digital microscope along with an integrated software to perform, save and export the following measurements: - Distance - Angle - Radius - Automatic count of particles - Occupied area measurements - 3D profile measurements - 3D volume measurements - Surface roughness measurements The Bidder MUST provide photos or documents to demonstrate these software capabilities. - The Bidder MUST be able to provide an element analyzer which is compatible with the proposed digital microscope and operable with same proposed software. The Bidder MUST justify why element analyzer is compatible with available digital microscope. - The Bidder MUST be able to provide an element analyzer which has Nd:YAG laser with a wavelength of at least in the range of 250-350 nano meter and a spot size range 1-15 micometer. The Bidder MUST provide document indicating this functionality. - The Bidder MUST have at least 3 years of experience supplying this equipment to different organizations. The experience must have been gained within the last 10 years prior to the bid closing date. The Bidder MUST provide examples of projects that have been completed within the last 3 years with the bid. The document must include the following: a) Project Name b) Project Application c) Contact Name and Contact Information (references*) * References might be contacted to confirm the provided information. The responsive bidder already holding a Supply arrangement for Laboratory and Scientific Equipment, Parts and Accessories, Services and Supplies from Public Works and Government Services Canada who meets the mandatory technical criteria with the lowest aggregate price will be recommended for contract award.
