Digital Ride Booking Platform

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust has entered into a direct award contract with Uber B.V. for the implementation of a Digital Ride Booking Platform. Valued at 200,000 pounds excluding VAT, the agreement begins on December 1, 2026, and runs through September 30, 2028, with optional extensions available until September 30, 2031. This partnership enables the Trust to book and manage non-emergency transport for patients and staff in real time using local drivers via the Uber web app. The service includes a custom business-facing dashboard, back-end reporting functionality to track every journey, and access to a specialist Uber support team. Financial arrangements are managed through a line of credit or monthly billing via bank transfer, utilizing call off Purchase Orders raised on a quarterly basis. The platform offers high flexibility with no minimum spend requirements and the possibility of API integration to streamline organizational operations.
