Full Description

NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION The Air Armament Center (AAC), Contracting Directorate, located at 205 West D Avenue, Suite 414, Eglin Air Force Base, FL, 32542, intends to enter into a new sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with SRI International, located at 333 Ravenswood Ave., Menlo Park, CA 94025-3453. This contract is for software, hardware, design, technical support, and data deliveries in support of the 46th Test Wing's Digital Video Laboratory system. The effort will provide the DVL program office with the software and firmware expertise and facilities to facilitate design, development, and test of DVL capabilities for use by operational urgent need customers and the test community. Subject contract is anticipated to be awarded on or before 2nd Quarter FY13, and have a base period of performance through 2nd Quarter FY18 (approximately 60 months) with a 24 month option. Contract cap is set at $230M. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and a Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 541712, with a size standard of 500 employees. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
