DISC, RUPTURE, AIRCRA

This contract is for the procurement of 20 aircraft rupture discs, identified by NSN 1680-01-554-6485. This is a source-controlled, critical application item that must be manufactured and tested according to specific Boeing Co. drawings and technical data packages. Because the government cannot provide the limited rights data, only vendors with existing access to the data or traceability to approved sources, such as F.P.I. Inc. or Technetics Group LLC, are eligible to quote. Offerors not listed as acceptable sources must obtain source approval from the design control activity and submit a source approval request with their offer. The agreement mandates strict quality and technical compliance, including CMMC Level 2 self-assessment and adherence to DLA packaging and marking standards. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin, with sampling conducted according to MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Delivery is required within 171 days after receipt of the order, with the final destination being DLA Distribution San Diego. All items must be marked and palletized in accordance with MIL-STD-129 and DLA procurement requirements.
