This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-61. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for one (1) Spectra Analysis DiscovIR-GC System with the following configuration: - Vacuum pumps and controllers - Data station running WindowsTM - Data Acquisition and Control Software - Library search software - Agilent 7890 GC system - 150 vial auto sampler, tray w/ heater, mixer, barcode reader - Chemstation Software - On-site Installation and Basic Operator Training - One year Warranty The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339999, All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing. This is anticipated to be a sole-source award. A full justification will be posted upon award in accordance with FAR 6.305(a). The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees.
