Solicitation SPE4A7-27-T-2206 is a federal procurement issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support ASC for the supply of 21 units of Ratchet Disks (NSN 1680-01-055-9402). The contract is established under the First Destination Transportation program with delivery terms set as FOB Origin, and both inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin. The required delivery period is 365 days after award, with a need ship date of May 9, 2027. A critical requirement includes First Article Testing, necessitating the delivery of one unit within 90 calendar days of the contract date for government approval. The procurement mandates strict adherence to quality and technical standards, requiring the manufacturer's inspection system to comply with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. Packaging and marking must follow MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, respectively. Due to the nature of the technical data, the contract is subject to ITAR and EAR export controls, requiring contractors to have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Additionally, the award incorporates various DFARS and FAR clauses regarding cybersecurity, the Buy American Act, and the prohibition of certain telecommunications equipment.
