The contract is for the procurement of two disk, valve poppet screws manufactured from brass per QQ-B-637 specification, identified by NSN 4810-01-109-2358, to be delivered FOB origin within 168 days of order receipt, with a need ship date of January 5, 2027. Delivery is directed to the DLA Distribution facility at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. Packaging must strictly comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA’s RP001 packaging requirements, including preservation method 33 for cool and dry conditions, wrapping material GB, unit container D3, and intermediate container DO, all marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129 with no special markings. Mercury and mercury compounds are prohibited from intentional inclusion in the item except for specific exempted uses such as batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, weapon systems, or NAVSEA-specified reagents, with portable fluorescent lamps and instruments requiring shockproof construction and secondary containment as per NAVSEA 5100-003D.
