These containers measure between 6 to 7 inches in length and 1 to 2 inches in diameter, featuring a securable cap and a lift-off cover for safe disposal. Each unit is to be packaged in sealed, damage-protective containers, which are then placed into suitable commercial exterior shipping containers, including export packaging when necessary. Packaging and marking must comply with the Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes previous military marking standards, ensuring proper identification and handling during shipping. The contract specifies a purchase quantity of four units with a delivery timeline of 20 days after the order date. This acquisition falls under federal procurement, managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain, with performance located in Annville, PA. The contract is governed by technical and quality requirements detailed in the Defense Logistics Agency’s master list, which must be adhered to during fulfillment. The solicitation was posted on February 26, 2026, with a response deadline of March 5, 2026. All supplies must meet the required standards for safe transport and handling, and provisions include removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies.
