Disposal of Hazardous (Non-Radioactive) Waste - Term Contract

LSU Procurement Services is soliciting bids for a term contract to manage the disposal of regulated hazardous non-radioactive waste materials. The scope of work includes the pickup and disposal of industrial waste, laboratory waste, unused chemicals, and non-regulated waste across multiple locations, including the Baton Rouge Campus, Pennington Biomedical Center, and various LSU Health Sciences and regional campuses. The selected supplier must provide all necessary labor, equipment, and containers, such as DOT spec fiber drums and DOD spec cubic yard boxes, while adhering to all EPA and DOT regulations. Key deliverables include the provision of Land Disposal Restriction forms, accurate drum inventory sheets, and Certificates of Disposal or Destruction within 180 days of the manifest date. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive supplier on an all-or-none basis. Bids must be submitted electronically by November 10, 2026, and quoted on a net basis F.O.B. LSU Destination. The supplier is expected to provide one to two day service for the delivery of packing materials and must name the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College as an additional insured on all liability policies. Compliance with various equal opportunity laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act is mandatory, and the supplier must maintain all contract records for at least five years. Payment is processed within 30 days of receiving a properly executed itemized invoice.
