The 106th Rescue Wing intends to award a sole-source contract to Undersea Systems International Inc, doing business as Ocean Technology Systems, for the procurement of specialized diver communication equipment for the 103rd Rescue Squadron. The procurement consists of two distinct ANG Kits, each featuring high-power 70-watt transceivers for through-water communications, diver-worn electronics units, portable surface units, and custom-configured Bud-Line communication cables with specific split-off lengths. Each kit also includes rechargeable battery packs, smart chargers, and custom foam-lined carrying cases. This action is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, as the government has determined that only one responsible source can satisfy the requirement. While this is a notice of intent to award rather than a request for competitive proposals, interested firms may challenge the sole-source designation by submitting an interest letter and rationale demonstrating their ability to provide equivalent supplies. All responses must be directed to the designated point of contact by the specified deadline for evaluation.
