The NSW-West Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Marine Services Commercial Diving Company, Inc., 609 Anita Street, Chula Vista, CA 91911-4619 under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This is a simplified acquisition. NAICS is 541380 Size: $12.0M. This notice is not a request for offers. The contractor identified above is the only known source for the subject requirement and meets all NAVSEA and NAVFAC certification requirements to perform maintenance on Diviong Life Support Systems as described on the Statement of Work (SOW) under Other Unique Requirements. Responses to this notice will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. The Government will not pay for any information submitted. All responses from responsive sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. F.O.B Destination. All responses must be received not later than 11:00 AM PST 27 September 2009. No extensions will be granted.
