Request for Proposal (RFP) – DND 404 Drivers Licensing AgreementBACKGROUNDDND has a requirement for a contractor to design, produce and deliver the DND Driver’s Licences (DL) IAW Canadian Driver Licence Agreement (CDLA) requirements. The requirement includes the replacement of expiring DLs.REQUIREMENTBidders are to refer to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the detailed requirement. The period of the contract, if awarded, will be approximately two years, followed by four (4) one-year option periods. The expected volume of Drivers Licenses to be produced will be approximately 20,000 per year.Tasks and Deliverables are detailed in Annex “A” of the Request for Proposal.For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants. The Mandatory Criteria are detailed in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP will prevail.The Department of National Defence reserves the right not to award a Contract, regardless of the responses it receives.
