On September 2, 2008, FAS OCIO posted RFQ313761 on eBuy to notify vendors of a Documentum Software Upgrade and Maintenance acquisition. Following this posting, Immix Technologies Inc. (the only authorized reseller of Documentum products on GSA Schedule) responded with a turnkey quotation that included open market items. In order to provide a seamless implementation, these items need to be included on the GSA Schedule award. The following peripheral equipment items are included in the vendor's GSA Schedule quote: QTY Part Number Product Description Open Market Price 1 HI-VOL-SERVER DCTM High Volume Server $15,000 1 HI-VOL-SERVER DCTM High Volume Server $15,000 1 HI-VOL-SERVER DCTM High Volume Server $15,000 1 HI-VOL-SERVER DCTM High Volume Server $15,000 2 456-100-321 Dispatcher IA Recostar Pro Zone $7,620 2 456-011-394 Prime Recognition(1CPU 3OCR Eng) $7,800 2 456-011-398 Prime Output Image as file $720 4 SE-LGT-BACKUP Legato Networker $21,600 The open market items are an integrated component within an overall acquisition. Maintenance on the items is necessary for ongoing operations. Therefore it is in the Government's best interest to incorporate the cost of the maintenance services in the total order It is in the Government's best interest to acquire a turnkey implementation of the Documentum upgrade.
