The DPU requires commercial broadband service with statically assigned Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, minimum data transfer rates of 300 Mbps download and 40 Mbps upload, and unlimited data transfer. This includes running cables from the exterior to the interior where the modem(s) and cable boxes will be located within the DPU RC. The government will provide modems as government-furnished equipment (GFE). The contractor is not responsible for modem failures. MAINTENANCE In the event of equipment failure, the contractor is responsible for replacing faulty equipment within 48 hours.
