DRY CARGO TIME OR VOYAGE CHARTER

The Military Sealift Command Norfolk, Strategic Sealift Program Support Office, is conducting market research for a dry cargo time or voyage charter to transport nine CV-22 aircraft. The mission involves transit between San Diego, California, and Iwakuni, Japan, with a performance period commencing on January 31, 2027. The required vessel must be a CV-22 NAVAIR certified Roll-on/Roll-off (RO/RO) vessel capable of carrying at least 17,000 square feet of military cargo, including helicopters, wheeled vehicles, and breakbulk. Specific technical requirements include a 20ft door for aircraft access and a total laytime of four days SSHEX for the entire mission. Load and discharge operations are to be conducted on a Free In and Out Stowed and Shipped (F.I.O.S.S.) basis.
