The US Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) has issued a market survey to obtain information on commercial industry capability to satisfy US Army requirements for a Dry Support Bridge (DSB) System. The desir ed DSB System shall demonstrate the following summary performance characteristics: 1) Military Load Class (MLC) 80 Tracked/100 Wheeled, Normal Crossing. 2) Minimum one way clear roadway width of 4.3 meters. 3) Maximum rated clear span of 40 Meters. 4) Configuration incorporating both bridge and launcher, with retrieval capability from either bank of bridge emplacement.
