Building V - Male Dormitory - Building U - Female Dormitory: Blocked HVAC ducts and grilles: the existing air distribution system should be thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, dust, and debris from the air supply and return ducts. Replace the existing supply (120 grilles) and return registers (60 registers) with fixed throw registers. Each register should be equipped with balancing dampers that can be secured and not easily adjusted. The registers should be secured to the system using tamper proof fasteners. The existing system should be balanced and a balancing report submitted to the center for their maintenance records. General Notes: Verify location of all registers and grilles. Coordinate with maintenance manager. This project is subject to the provisions of the Bavis-Bacon Act for construction work on a federally funded Job Corps Center.
