Construction of Chilled Water Plant and Site Utility Upgrades at VA Medical Center in West Haven, CT
Solicitation # W912WJ26RA008
Solicitation W912WJ26RA008 is a firm-fixed-price construction project for the Phase A2 Chilled Water Plant Replacement and Site Utility Upgrades at the VA Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut. The scope includes the demolition of the existing chilled water plant and the construction of a new multi-story facility featuring chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and a new fuel tank farm. Site utility upgrades involve replacing fire protection and domestic water mains, creating utility main loops for chilled water, steam, condensate, and fire protection, and installing redundant electrical feeders and new water storage tanks. The project must adhere to DVA Physical Security Resiliency Design Requirements and is expected to achieve USGBC LEED Silver certification. A minimum small business participation rate of 10 percent is mandatory for eligibility.
