Description This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the Chester County Department of Mental Health/ Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (MH/IDD) to solicit proposals from providers whom, pursuant to the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) Announcement EI-13-08 Eligibility for Infant/Toddler and Preschool Early Intervention (12/13/2013), 55 Pa. Code § 4226.22(a)(1) and 34 CFR § 303.321(a)(3)(ii), employ or contract with qualified personnel in early intervention services to conduct independent evaluations for infants and toddlers up to age three in Chester County who are in the process of determining eligibility or have been deemed eligible to receive Early Intervention supports. Per 34 CFR § 303.321(a)(3)(ii), qualified personnel are those who have met State approved or recognized certification, licensing, registration, or other comparable requirements that apply to the areas in which the individuals are conducting evaluations or assessments or providing early intervention services, as mandated by OCDEL, and 55 Pa. Code § 4226.53 and 4226.55.
