East Hawai‘i Regional Sort Station Loadout Area Expansion

The County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management Solid Waste Division is soliciting bids for the East Hawai‘i Regional Sort Station Loadout Area Expansion, Job No. SW-4847, located at 1651 Hoolaulima Road in Hilo. The project involves expanding the sort station to include a second waste loadout area, repairing the existing loadout chute, and performing necessary mechanical, electrical, and structural work, including the replacement of the existing fire alarm system. The scope of work encompasses excavation, concrete retaining walls, slabs-on-grade, metal building improvements, and the installation of an industrial wastewater handling system. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder providing the lowest responsive lump sum bid.
