eCASS Pre-Proposal Conference

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION BUT RATHER NOTIFICATION OF A PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIRWARCENACDIV) Lakehurst is hosting a Pre-Solicitation Conference on 8 May 2009 at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Washington Liaison Office (WLO), 200 12th Street S. - Suite 1400, Arlington, VA 22202 (703-604-6040). Directions to NAVAIR WLO and local hotel information are attached. A listing of companies and their addresses that attended the Pre-Solicitation Conference in Lakehurst, NJ on 5 February 2009 is also attached. The purpose of this event is to provide industry with updated electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS) Program information and to discuss the contents of the eCASS FINAL RFP (N68335-09-R-0001). No contractors will be authorized admittance to the Pre-Proposal Conference if they have not pre-registered via email by contacting Ms. Marybeth Kacek at marybeth.kacek@navy.mil no later than 5 May 2009. Additionally, all contractors will have to fax a visit request on company letterhead to the NAVAIR WLO Fax at (703-604-0781). The tentative schedule of events follows: 0730 - 0800 Registration at the NAVAIR WLO in Arlington, VA 0800 - 1200 Pre-Proposal Conference NOTE: Due to potentially high attendance, and space constraints, this Pre-Proposal Conference will be limited to those companies intending to propose on the eCASS RFP as Prime Offerors. Prime Offerors may bring no more than 6 personnel from their - team. The Government reviewed all questions, comments and suggestions from industry in response to the draft eCASS RFP and incorporated updates as required into the final eCASS RFP which was released on 1 April 2009. All adopted changes were incorporated and clarification was provided where warranted in the final eCASS RFP. Pre-Proposal Conference attendees are requested to provide any advance questions and/or comments, in writing, to Ms. Marybeth Kacek no later than 5 May 2009, who can be reached via email at marybeth.kacek@navy.mil.
