Economic Independence for Victims and Survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG)

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is seeking a provider for the Economic Independence for Victims and Survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) service in London. This initiative is designed to help survivors recover from economic abuse, achieve financial re-stabilisation, and attain long-term economic independence. Key objectives include improving financial literacy, assisting survivors in accessing emergency funding, and supporting goals related to education, training, and employment, including entrepreneurship and self-employment. Additionally, the provider will work to build capability across the London workforce to better identify and respond to economic abuse. The contract is valued at an estimated 2,760,000 pounds excluding VAT for an initial three-year term running from April 1, 2027, to April 1, 2030, with a potential one-year extension to March 31, 2031, valued at 920,000 pounds. This brings the total potential contract value to 3,680,000 pounds excluding VAT. The award will be based entirely on quality criteria.
