Full Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), on behalf of the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265), intends to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) delivery order against existing sole-source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019261002 to the Boeing Company. This procurement is for the manufacturing, assembly and installation support of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6315C3 Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) A-Kits in FY27, supporting both United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft configurations.
The anticipated period of performance anticipated will commence in December 2026 and expected to span approximately 17 months.
Boeing is the designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F/A-18 aircraft in its various configurations; and as such, is the only known firm with the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise required to accomplish this effort.

This synopsis is for informational purposes only. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.103-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or series will satisfy agency requirements”. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
