The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through fair and competitive negotiations for a firewall support contract. The goods and services requested in these documents are part of the E-Rate filings for the Emery County School District for the 2026 funding year. Background Emery County School District purchased a Fortigate901G firewall FY 2024-25 for internal network connection/security. As part of this project, the District will need purchase a 3 year maintenance contract to ensure functionality of this critical equipment. Questions may be submitted to Doug Johnson, Technology Director, through email at: doug@emeryschools.org. Answers to questions may be shared with other vendors if necessary to provide clarification to the RFP process. Questions should be submitted by 5 p.m. January March 10th, 2026 Due Date Proposals will be received in the Emery County Schools District Offices at the following address: 120 North Main Street, Box 120, Huntington, Utah. All proposals must be received during the posting dates that meets or exceeds the 28 days required by the E-Rate program. The RFP posting will go from February 18th, 2026 to March 18th, 2026. Any proposals received after 5 p.m. the date indicated will not be accepted. It is the vendors responsibility to have sealed bids delivered on time. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Specifications Listed below are parts and quantities for proposal. Vendors may submit alternative service contract as long as the contract is an equivalent service and serves a similar functionality. Vendors must be in good standing and update their E-Rate status as required. Vendors must have a valid SPIN number that is provided with the quote. Emery County Schools District reserves the right to adjust quantities prior to purchasing to meet the needs of the District. Parts / Description Quantity FC-10-FG9H1-247-02-36 Service/Maintenance 3 year contract for Fortigate 901G From July 1st 2026 to June 30th 2029 1 Pricing Labor pricing for installation must be listed separate. The District reserves the right to award the bid to the overall best-qualified vendor and not solely based on lowest price. Price will be the highest weighted factor. If applicable, the vendor shall specify change fees, freight assurance fees, shipping charges, taxes, surcharges and contingency fees for eligible equipment. Award of the RFP Upon completion of the evaluation process, the District may award the RFP to the vendor whose proposal is determined to be most advantageous to the District. All pertinent District policies and State of Utah purchasing codes and State procurement policies and procedures apply. The District will send out an contract award letter for the vendor to sign as an acceptance. Pricing must be good through July 1st 2024. The Purchase Order will be sent after the contract award letter is signed by both parties.
