Export Development Canada (EDC), per its obligations under Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Chapter Nineteen of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), is announcing that it is undertaking a Request for Proposal (RFP). To achieve its 2025 business priorities to create, serve and grow more medium size exporters and to deliver needs-driven customer value and experience, EDC needs to continue to invest in the development of its sales force to further increase skills and competencies in driving strategic sales conversations and developing sales leaders to coach for sales performance. EDC is looking for a training vendor on a 3-year contract to offer ongoing training sessions in both official languages to current employees and new hires joining EDC’s sales teams. The employees can be either leaders or individual contributors. Training sessions could be offered up to eight times a year. The purpose of these training sessions is to ensure that all EDC sales leaders and employees are trained with a consistent sales program, and learnings are reinforced, to drive a predictable and valuable customer experience.
