Please note: The Air Force will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this request. Synopsis: Notice of Availability: Laughlin AFB, TX has received a request by San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District (SFDR CISD) for a Lease for approximately 10,500 square meters of land to establish a magnet school for grades kindergarten through five. The installation Facilities Board has determined the land available that best fits this purpose is a vacant lot on the northwest corner of Patterson Street and Mitchell Boulevard, confined by Kenyon Street, Mumbrue Street and 7th Street. A previous development on this site has been demolished, but the 1,000 square meter parking lots remains and all necessary utilities are available in the vicinity to be reestablished. This notice is to see if any other interest exists for said property. Summary of the outgrant terms and conditions: Lease period will be for a term of five (5) years plus option. Cost of lease of property will be at a minimum equal to fair market value. Grantee must be able to meet all conditions in the attached lease template (Atch 1). Lease will be at no cost to the United States Air Force. Grantee will be responsible for all administrative costs associated with the lease. The details of all construction and equipment to be installed must be provided for review by the 47th Civil Engineer Squadron. Grantee will be responsible for all costs associated with adhering to applicable Unified Facilities Criteria and Air Force Instructions. At the completion of the lease, grantor has complete discretion in granting a renewal and can consider, by way of example and not by way of limitation, the past practices of grantee on the Installation, the timeliness of grantee's request for renewal relative to requests by other entities for similar leases and the changing mission requirements of the government.
