Eglin Aircraft Backshop Maintenance

The Department of Defense, United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), 96th Test Wing, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a contract for services in support of the Backshop Aircraft Maintenance. The 96th Maintenance Group is designated as the lead aircraft maintenance support organization for the 96th Test Wing. The skills and expertise required for this support consist primarily of aircraft maintenance professionals, but also includes administrative and functional support. This acquisition will be full and open competition under the guidance of FAR Part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488190 with a small business standard size of $32.5M. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration can be completed by going to https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/#1 and completing the registration process. The solicitation package is anticipated to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website in late July or early August, which can be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov.
